Christy works in the business and corporate law arena to assist companies with both the acquisition and disposition of company assets. At the same time, she will work with lenders to craft a workable financing structure to ensure clients the best opportunity to succeed. Christy has also assisted several companies with business succession planning and contracts of all kinds, including leases, confidentiality agreements, employment agreements, license agreements, and inter-company asset transfers.
Christy practices extensively in the bankruptcy courts, typically representing secured creditors in their efforts to protect their interests in a bankruptcy matter. Her corporate expertise assists her with complex commercial disputes involving company management, business disputes, and development agreements. Christy’s litigation experience is also utilized in her representation of numerous construction clients, working to protect their rights as general contractors and to defend against defective claims by owners and improper subcontractor claims.
