Jo Anna Cotaya
Jo Anna Cotaya has 20 years of Commercial Real Estate experience, focusing on lending and project analysis. Ms. Cotaya has been with Capital One Bank (formerly Hibernia National Bank) since July 2001. She is currently a Senior Vice President in the Investor Real Estate and Development Lending Division. This group assists bankers in finding viable real estate projects and structures financing to meet both bank and customer needs. Properties financed include residential developments such as subdivisions, condominiums and apartments, and commercial projects such as retail centers, office buildings and light industrial. Prior to joining Capital One Ms. Cotaya was Senior Vice President in charge of the Commercial Real Estate Group of United Life and Annuity Insurance Company. She was with United for over 12 years. Ms. Cotaya was born and raised in the New Orleans area. She holds degrees from UL Lafayette (BS) and UNO (MBA). She attained the CCIM designation in 1997. She is a charter member of CREW. She currently serves as a CREW board member and is its Treasurer.
