Marguerite Adams
Ms. Adams practices in the areas of real estate, finance, general business, probate and estate planning.
Real estate developers and lenders are among Ms. L Adams’ clients. She represents them in the acquisition, construction and financing of commercial office buildings, residential subdivisions, shopping centers, industrial facilities, and condominiums and other residential developments. She also counsels them in the preparation of leases, restructuring of partnerships, real estate sales and review of title and issuance of title policies for the firm’s title agency.
She also prepares wills and trusts for individuals and advises clients on the disposition of closely held businesses, taxation of estates and other estate planning matters. Additionally, she handles probate matters and represents trustees and corporate fiduciaries.
Ms. Adams, a board certified estate panning and administration specialist, is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and is chairman of its State Laws Committee. She is named in the Best Lawyers in America and is active in CREW – Commercial Real Estate Women, New Orleans.
