The parent company Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (NYSE: FNF) is currently ranked number 523 on Fortune's list of America's largest companies.

The Louisiana state office, now located in Old Metairie, was opened in 2002 by Account Manager Glenda Barras and State Counsel Ron Wood.  Dan Voorhies joined the company as an Account Manager in 2003.  With the addition of Shreveport based State Counsel Chris Geyer in early 2009, Fidelity continues to be well positioned as it supports their agents’ underwriting needs.  With the establishment of a local presence, Fidelity’s market share increased from 3.18% in 2002 to 10.8% in the first quarter of 2009.

In support of their local and statewide agents, Fidelity utilizes the underwriting expertise of both attorneys as well as the quality service of its account managers. Yearly agency seminars are provided by the Louisiana staff to keep agents up to date on industry changes. Agents have responded to the quality service by using Fidelity as the title insurance underwriter on a number of prominent real estate projects in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Shreveport, in addition to Central and Southwest Louisiana.
