The Besthoff family sold their retail business, K&B drugstores, to Rite-Aid Corp. in 1997 and founded Catherine Associates, L.L.C./Property Management Group, L.L.C. The company is a family owned real estate firm that owns, leases and manages various properties located primarily in Louisiana, but also in Mississippi, Alabama, Florida and Tennessee.
The properties consist of neighborhood shopping centers, freestanding commercial leases, ground leases, industrial properties and an office building.
The companies are headquartered in the K&B Plaza building on Lee Circle in New Orleans and a ten person office directly manages the regional real estate.
