Major projects featuring Brownfields presented by Kari Godchaux - City of New Orleans

Brownfields Director for New Orleans City Planning Commission, Kari Godchaux & Jeff Schwartz, Director of Economic Development, will provide numerous examples of major projects in Orleans Parish that have used brownfield funding. She will discuss the types of brownfield financing, how to access it, and what the process is for environmental cleanup and a successful project. Examples of major projects she has worked on include the Market Street Power Plant, Lincoln Beach, and the NSA complex.

About the Program:

The CPC Brownfield Program is tasked with supporting project redevelopment and environmental clean-up. We have a defined target area and focus on projects that will positively benefit the City of New Orleans.
